Visit to SCC Data Centre

The Data Centre specialist group has arranged a visit to SCC’s new Data Centre facility in Tyseley, Birmingham.

Spaces are extremely limited so book now to guarantee your place.

SCC have incorporated some of the latest cutting edge technologies into the facility and this your chance to view them and ask questions of the design team and NOC staff.

The provisional agenda

6pm start for 6:30pm start (coffee and networking)

6:30pm Introduction by SCC to BCS delegates

Introduction of SCC/SCH

An overview of the rationale behind SCC/SCH building a COLO/Managed Service in the West Midlands

SCC Design experts will then provide an overview of the design criterion, energy efficiency, air con, security, monitoring, density etc

7:00 – 7:30pm Visit to the Data Centre & NOC guided tour

8:00pm back to Conference Room for Q&A session

Finish at 8:30pm or 9pm depending on questions.
