DCSG Event, 24th July. Virtualisation - The promise vs the real world results. Print E-mail
Written by Ian Hammond
Monday, 14 July 2008
The DCSG takes a look at how virtualisation has impacted the data centre environment.

Almost every business out there with fifty servers or more have probably thought about virtualisation over the past 18 month. Many have implemented huge virtualisation programs to consolidate and push up the utilisation of their hardware assets. Today, virtualisation comes in many different flavours but tout mostly the same overal business benefits that are on the whole widely understood and accepted, but, what really was the result of that large virtualisation program.

The DCSG introduces speakers from VMWare, Quest and others to come and play the pros, cons and real world results so you can make up your own mind what and how virtualisation can help you in your drive to become more efficient! and get more bang for your buck.
